For remote installation of the garage door opener receiver, it may be mounted away from the operator-head or on the ceiling by using the Digi-Code receiver mounting tabs. The model DC5196 adapter will allow connection between the operator terminal and the two-way lugs on the receiver.

Slip on the connectors at one end of the adapter to connect to the flat side of each spade lug on the garage door opener receiver, and to the spade connections at the other end of the terminal. Connect the wires as follows:

(a) White wire to terminal “1” or “24v”

(b) Black wire to terminal “2” or “Relay”

(c) Red wire terminal “3” or “Common” (“Radio Power”)

(d) Connect push button wires to terminal “1” and “2”

Where power for the radio receiver is not available from the garage door opener, order Model DC5197 power transformer adaptor for connection between the opener and the remote Digi-Code receiver.
