Chamberlain Professional Products’ Residential Garage Door Openers Earn Three Consumers Digest Best Buy Ratings

8/20/2007 – In recognition of Chamberlain Professional Products’ reputation as an industry leader in product innovation and quality, three prestigious Consumers Digest Best Buy ratings have been awarded to the LiftMaster 3220, LiftMaster 3595 and LiftMaster RJ03800 garage door openers.

Consumers Digest tested garage door openers in four categories: screw drive, chain drive, belt drive, and wall-mounted.  Openers were compared on quietness, safety features, ease of installation and build quality. Chamberlain garage door openers took the top spot in three of the categories:

• The LiftMaster Premium Series 3220 was awarded the Premium Selection Best Buy in the Screw Drive category.
• The LiftMaster Elite Series 3595 took the top spot in the Chain Drive category.
• The LiftMaster Elite Series RJO3800 was awarded the Premium Selection Best Buy in the Wall-Mounted category.

Consumers Digest has been identifying outstanding performance and testing in a complex and crowded marketplace for more than 45 years. The Consumers Digest Best Buy rating is awarded to fewer than three percent of the competing models in any given product category.
