This is similar to your residential garage door opener except the system unlocks the gated entrance.
The CLIKcard supports read ranges in excess of 200 feet so the user can press the appropriate button prior to reaching the gate, and as the gate opens,continue to drive through. The advantage is the user will not have to stop, roll down a window and enter an entry code or use touch-style reader technologies to gain access. Rather, they simply press the button and the gate will open. The receiver is housed in a weatherproof, metal enclosure. The transmitters are available in a one- or two-button configuration.
